Q. How long does it take to make an appointment?
A. Once you schedule an appointment via phone, email or via our appointment scheduler we will provide you with a date and time at the earliest convenient period for onsite visits. Q. What do I need to bring with me if I drop off my computer?
A. If you are dropping off your computer, you are only required to bring the tower, in the event it is a desktop. Depending on the problem you are required to walk with your original operating system CDs that came with the computer, if it wasn’t custom-built. There is no need to provide us with the cables/monitor/keyboard/mouse since we already have those in supply.
If you are bringing your laptop please bring the laptop and the power cable.
Q. How quick is your turn around time for physical repairs?
A. It depends on what the problem is with the computer, some problems can be fixed within 1- 3 business days in most cases, and other serious issues may take a week, especially if the computer requires a replacement part/s that cannot be sourced by a vendor since there are none in stock. The customer however, will be informed beforehand if the computer cannot be repaired within the set timeframe.
Q. What is Remote Computer Services?
A. Remote Computer Services allows for a technician to remotely access your computer real time by using innovative technology in the form of a secure online “screen sharing” software. The technician is able to repair your problem by taking control of your mouse, virtually in front of you. However, you are required to have internet connection for this service to work.
Q. Is Remote Computer Services safe?
A. Absolutely, we use 256 bit encryption connection which allows your data to be secure. Once you initiate the session and you have any questions or concerns you can chat online with the technician. The software takes about 3-5 minutes to start up and you must give us permission before we proceed. Once the technician closes the link after the repair is completed there is no longer any connection with your computer. You are also given the option to stop the session by terminating the online link.
Q. How long will it take to fix my computer remotely?
A. There are varying times in which your computer can be repaired online, but this depends on the complexity of the problem. It may take the technician less than 30 minutes to between 3 hours to fix. If for some reason the computer cannot be fixed remotely, payment will not be processed. We guarantee you that only on completed repairs will there be a charge.
